Physical and Health Education
Quarter 1
In PHE this quarter we learned how to play proper soccer, and had a small mini project based on a chosen topic, which was injury prevention and safety. The quarter was fun, and I enjoyed it a lot. Especially when we played soccer because it helped me to play the sport, and it feels more like a game then actual studying. The thing I think I did very well this quarter in PHE was playing soccer, though I am not very good at it yet. I have seen a lot of improvement. I was able to dribble, and move the ball, score several times, and shoot the ball properly. The thing I do want to improve are my skills, though they have improved I should improve them even more to become a professional or good soccer player. Another thing I want to improve from this quarter was our movie about injury prevention and safety because though the movie was funny. We got a pretty bad score for it since we didn’t look at the criteria, and didn’t thoroughly explain the topic. So I hope that I could improve that next quarter.
Global Context
I think that the global context that most related for PHE is identities and relationships. It is this because in PHE we learn how to take good care of our body, how to live healthy, and how to strengthen our physical body. We do this by doing exercises, warm ups, and afterwards exploring it by making doing a research on a chosen topic that is related to health. This helps us to understand our body, and know what is good for it.
