Reflection
In Biblical Studies this quarter we learned how to become mature. Or well lessons of becoming mature, one of them were learning how to tame the tongue. We learned more about the book of James, which basically contains examples and lessons how to become a mature person. Our final product of this quarter was to make a movie about examples how to become mature in situations of school. We had to do this project in groups of 3-4. We faced little difficulty in figuring out the content of the movie, and within the first week we were already finished with most of the scenes. The only problem was that I wasn’t able to meet with my group, resulting in a great lost of time. This also resulted in us not having the movie finished during the day we had to present it. Luckily my friend Prem, and I were able to finish the movie in Lunch. When we presented it, the audience wasn't really that amazed, since the movie was very simple, and basic. It wasn't really that entertaining, if I looked at the audiences faces, and only at some parts they laughed. I just hope that next time we would use our time more wisely, and that we would have more then 0 meetings. If we would have meet, and used our time more wisely. We would of been able to make a more entertaining, organized, and informative movie. Though the movie for me wasn't that good in my perspective. The teacher was still kind of happy with it, and said that we still gave informative explanation about how to tame the tongue.
Global Context
The global context that I think is most related to Biblical Studies would be Globalization and Sustainability. This is because we learned how to become more mature, or ways of showing maturity in life. We explored and learned how we ourselves could become mature, and explored our current conditions and situations in life, and how that reflects on our maturity. It is Globalization and Sustainability because we mainly learned in Biblical Studies this quarter how our actions in life can effect the environment we live in, or in other words, that surrounds us.
