Civics
In Civics we learned about how the Indonesian government rules Indonesia. We learned about norms, that are the rules and regulations, and we learned about more rules in Indonesia. Since we only have 1 period of Civics, we can't learn as much as math in 1 week. Civics is fun and interesting for me since we learn about Indonesia's government more.
NormsA norm is a relationship of rules and regulations. The Indonesian government uses norms to keep the people in control and disciplined. Norms are for everything! There are four kinds of norms, religious, legal, family, and discipline norm. If there were no norms then the country would fall into chaos because there were no rules there, and the people have free will to do anything.
If you disobey religious norms such as disobeying your parents, would be bad. But you don't deserve a big punishment but maybe a small one such as no video games for one day or grounded. But if it turns out to serious you could end up in jail. thebestcolleges.org |
3 Pictures Identifying normsIn one of our Home works for Civics we had to bring 3 pictures describing 3 good Norms. I had actually forgot to print out the pictures and got a grade lower. I had tree pictures describing one of them a discipline norm of a man eating with his mouth closed. The second one was a family what is a legal norm since we all can have a family. The third one was a boy going to school what is a legal norm, since we have the right for education, and it's legal to learn.
The habit, customs, and regulations for the pictures are that we need to go to school for education what is a habit. That we need to respect all customs at school, what is a custom. And for regulation, we need to obey the rules. For the family picture the habit is: we need to respect one another and help another. The custom is that we need to respect other families on the way they live and lead their family. The regulation is: to respect another and not to murder. For the last picture the man eating with his mouth closed, the habit is: Eating with your mouth closed is more respectful when you're the guest in someone else's house. The custom is: If we eat with our mouth closed we respect and show more discipline in someone else's community. The regulation is that it's more respectful if your eating in someone else's house. My comment is that the custom, habit, and regulations may be the same but they give many good ways of discipline and respect if your in someone else's community, house, or place. lovablelabelsblog.com |
Future Improvements
In the next quarter I would like to improve thinking for alternatives. Like if my printer doesn't work that I would ask my friends to print it for help. I would like to do this so I don't forget to print my homework and not getting a lower grade.
Also thinking twice so that I know for sure that's the answer.
